Services during Closure

The library building is undergoing necessary preventative maintenance starting on May 10. As a result, the building will be closed to the public from May 10-24.

What does that mean for you as of May 10?

  • If you’re registered for a program, you should receive info about cancellation or modification by Friday May 3.
  • If you have a meeting room or exam booked, we’ll be getting in touch with you to reschedule or cancel and we’re looking into other options.
  • If you want to borrow items, we will have curbside service hours. You will be able to pick up your holds and take items out. Automatic renewals are turned on for High River Library-owned items.
  • If you have items to return, please do so in the outdoor drop box. If you have a gadget that shouldn’t go in the drop box, please call the library at 403-652-2917 or email library@highriverlibrary.ca to make arrangements for return.
  • Printing and public access computers will be unavailable as will exam invigilation services.
  • As always, our eResources remain available at highriverlibrary.ca/eResources and this is a great opportunity to explore them
